- I am an avid dog lover who is passionate about bird hunting, primarily quail and pheasant. Currently there are 5 dogs in my kennel. But between me and my hunting buddies, we have 10 damn good dogs. We have 2 Shorthairs out of Sam St. Max and Fritz breeding plus 2 more Shorthairs, 2 nice Setters, 2 English Pointers (1 being a well-bred Attitude dog), 2 Brittanys out of Nolan's bloodline (great NSTRA dogs). We have been travelling annually out west since 1985 and try to make it back at least 3 times a year. Our favorite areas to hunt are North Central and South West Kansas along with North West Oklahoma and the rolling hills of North West Texas. I hunted in Montana a number of years ago and can't wait to get back to Big Sky Country.
